Guide to Printing Digital Art
How to Print Digital Art
Everything you need to know about printing your Arts To Glory digital downloads — clean, simple, and gallery-grade.
Print Setup Basics
What paper should I use?
Use matte or satin photo paper (170–300gsm). Matte is best for a modern, glare-free look. Satin adds punch without going glossy.
What's the ideal file format?
All files are high-resolution JPEGs (300 DPI) — ideal for large-format, edge-to-edge printing up to A1 without loss.
Should I print borderless?
If your printer supports it, borderless gives the most visual impact. If not, print with margins and trim post-print.
Printing Options
Can I print this at home?
Yes — just set your inkjet printer to 'Best Quality' and print on matte photo paper. For anything larger than A3, go pro.
Should I use a professional printer?
Yes. For gallery-level results, upload your JPEG to a trusted print lab. Choose your finish: matte, satin, canvas, or archival stock.
Do you offer printing?
No — we provide digital files only. Our downloads are print-optimised and ready to go straight to your chosen printer.
Quality & Framing
Do I need to calibrate my screen?
Colours may shift slightly between screen and paper. For best results, calibrate your display or ask your printer for a soft proof.
How should I frame the artwork?
Use a frame that fits the artwork ratio (3:2 or 2:3). Minimal black or white frames work best. UV glass protects colour over time.
How do I resize without losing quality?
Always scale proportionally. Avoid stretching. See our Resizing Guide for exact steps.
